About

Champ Management was founded by Matt Musacchio in 2016. Although far removed from the entertainment industry growing up in the small town of Canastota, NY, Matt knew at a very young age he wanted to work in the music business. As a digital native, Matt was an early adapter of social media platforms used as tools for artist discovery. While in high school, Matt connected with Jessie James Decker, who would eventually become his first management client, after hearing her demos on MySpace. Matt started working for her in various capacities while earning his BS at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in 2013 and JD at Syracuse University’s College of Law in 2016. During law school, Matt discovered teenage country band Temecula Road on Instagram, developing them from the ground up and helping them land a deal with Disney Music Group and Warner Music Nashville. After graduating from law school, Matt made the move to Nashville, TN. The same year, he managed the release of Jessie James Decker’s Southern Girl City Lights album, which debuted at number one on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. Always passionate about finding new artists, Champ Management’s most recent signing, Vincent Mason, is having a breakout year, landing on multiple “artists to watch” lists. With a roster of longterm clients and fresh talent, Champ Management is looking forward to the future ahead dedicated to not only managing, but developing and elevating artists’ careers.
